Explore Utah’s Untouched Wilderness with a Native American Guide
The wilderness of Utah is world famous. In this guided backcountry experience, connect with the land by exploring it with a Native American guide. Learn about the region’s history, culture, native plants, wildlife, and the deep connection between thousands of years of human history and the land itself. The backcountry of Antelope Island is incredible—despite being only an hour from downtown Salt Lake City, its west side faces hundreds of miles of untouched wilderness.
Home to bison, antelope, mule deer, coyotes, and thousands of migratory birds, this landscape offers a glimpse of what it was like before modernization. This little-known and rarely visited area is truly magical, offering a richer, more meaningful travel experience when explored with First Nations guides whose people, cultures, and spirits remain intimately tied to this beautiful land.
